Giving

Since 1887, the congregation at Zion Lutheran Church has represented a caring community of families and individuals in North Henderson. As such, we support causes in the local community, as well as individuals and families in need.

Supporting Those in Need

• We offer prayers and organize benefits for those who fall ill, live in nursing homes or are experiencing difficult times
• We make quilts for Lutheran World Relief
• We volunteer for and donate to the Alexis/North Henderson Food Pantry and county food pantry
• We take donations to LaGrace Hall of Hope women’s and children’s homeless shelter in Galesburg
• We provide donated items to Lutheran Social Services

Please feel free to join us in sharing abundance with others. If you would like to volunteer, or if you have items that may help those in need, please let us know. And when you hear about a community organization, individual or family in need, please reach out to us.
